Nuno Peixoto de Pinho Sheet Music
Initiated his musical studies by the age of 18, at the Music Academy of São João da Madeira, where, in 2002, he completed the classic guitar and, also, the analysis and composition techniques studies with the composer Ângela Lopes. In 2003, he entered the Escola Superior de Música e das Artes do Espectáculo (E.S.M.A.E.), in Oporto, where he initiated his degree in Composition. Since then, in the area of composition, he worked with renowned composers such as Cândido Lima, Fernando Lapa, Dimitris Andrikopoulos, Carlos Guedes, Eugénio Amorim and Erik Oña. Recently, he had two of his works, about Santa Maria’s folk music, edited on album and performed by the Chamber Choir of São João da Madeira. In 2009, his work for orchestra, “This is not a poem”, won the 4th International Composition Competition of Póvoa de Varzim.
